DATUS Enabling Recovery is a grassroots peer-led charity that was conceived, founded and developed by a group of individuals in recovery in 2007. All our services are delivered by individuals in recovery and we believe this is a significant factor in our success at engaging with stigmatised groups. Being peer-led means that DATUS, while still delivering a professional service, ensures that representative from its core beneficiaries, are not only represented but active at board level and within the staff team. DATUS was born out of supporting individuals who suffer from addiction. We have established a versatile system of independent and anonymous involvement and consultation.
