About Davant (A trading division of Linthwaite Ltd)
DAVANT was established in 1989 by David Merrick who started the business working out of a portacabin on a farm in rural Herefordshire selling pipe insulation into plumber’s merchants. Twenty six years later DAVANT are part of the still privately owned LINTHWAITE GROUP of companies which are firmly established as nationwide manufacturing and distribution businesses into the Plumbing and Building Industry. As an independently owned business itself, DAVANT takes pride in selling over 5000 insulation and building plastics’ products predominantly into the independent merchant sector. We maintain very strong stock levels of high quality products and these are distributed from our Distribution Centres, in Herefordshire and Scotland, predominantly on our own liveried fleet of vehicles and drivers.
