Welcome to the Newent (Gloucestershire, UK) based company, specialising in architectural design and building surveying. I am a fully trained building surveyor and have now been in business on my own since 2008 to provide quality architectural design alongside building surveys. I have worked on projects across the country of all shapes and sizes, whether this is extending a house or building a new one. I can be involved at any stage of a building project, although the easiest is to be involved from the start. I can create a range of options based on the measured survey to form drawings suitable for whatever type of application might be required. Once you have the design you think will work best for your home I will submit the application and sort the correspondence with the local authority. After any permissions have been obtained, it will be necessary to create detailed working drawings to satisfy the building regulations. These tend to focus on health and safety, but also energy efficiency to ensure that your home doesn't cost the earth to run once the building work has been completed!
