About David Sidwell Photography
The world is mysterious and strange and downright beautiful. I try to capture that with my photography. I'm a fine art photographer, but I also shoot weddings, portraits, and products, including food. I specialize in performer head shots and weddings, but I love photographing families, kids, etc. in a journalistic way. I dislike doing portrait photos in a studio when there is such an amazing and lovely world out there. One exception is professional head shots for actors and performers, since casting directors and audition personnel like these types of photos to be done in a special way. My fine art photos include landscapes, macros, and mysterious nature, but I also do artistic manipulation in Photoshop to capture inferred emotions, movement, and transformations, such as in my recent Native American Dancer series. Have camera, will travel!
