About Davis Ink
Since launching Davis Ink in 2002, interior designer Davis Krumins has been the visionary behind numerous award-winning, successful nightclubs, restaurants and hotels. Along with his wife and business partner, Andrea, Davis has designed unforgettable venues that guests flock to and the media love. In San Diego’s burgeoning nightlife scene, Davis has created several restaurant and nightclub venues including the 22,500 square foot, three-story mega-club, Stingaree in the Gaslamp and Side Bar, the city’s original VIP style nightclub, which he redesigned in 2009. Davis debuted The Kress in Hollywood, after restoring the famed old Frederick’s of Hollywood building on Hollywood Boulevard back to its original Art Deco glory, with a few modern twists. An instant celebrity hot spot with the likes of Paris Hilton, Justin Timberlake and Prince, The Kress is 38,800 square feet with five unique venues including a restaurant, sushi lounge, private event space and rooftop lounge with 360-degree views of Los Angeles. Davis’ talents have been recognized with prestigious awards including being named to OC Metro’s “Hot 25” and Boutique Design Magazine’s “Boutique 18” for the top rising hospitality designers in the country. Davis Ink designed venues have been recognized by Conde Nast Traveler’s prestigious “Hot List” (Stingaree, San Diego) and featured in The New York Times, Hospitality Design, Maxim, and Sunset among many others. They have been the backdrop for a number of television shows including TLC’s popular fashion show “What Not to Wear” and Bravo TV’s “Real Housewives of Orange County” (Stingaree); ABC’s “The Bachelor” and “E! News” (The Kress); and “Keeping up with the Kardashians” (Suki 7).
