Davis Interiors, Ltd. offers extensive interior design services with a specialization in shipboard habitability. Shipboard habitability is the conformance of a space into certain standards of living while maintaining very specific requirements primarily fire safety of fabrics and materials. Davis Interiors, Ltd. is a Certified Lean Enterprise and we’re in the process of receiving our ISO-9000 designation for Quality Management. With a sheet metal shop, paint shop, sewing room, upholstery shop, design staff and warehouse, we can service virtually any shipboard habitability need. We strive to make the ship’s living environment a comfortable home away from home for the men and women who serve in our military. We design spaces that are functional, comfortable and aesthetically pleasing while conforming to NAVSEA specifications. Davis Interiors, Ltd. has the experience and talent to deliver work that exceeds expectations. We’ve been designing shipboard living arrangements since 1955, and our average staff member has over 20 years of experience. With our own full crew of trained technicians, we’re able to carefully monitor the production and quality of our designs from manufacturing in our facilities to onboard installation. Over the years it has grown into what is now the oldest shipboard habitability contractor in business. Today the company is run by the second and third generations of the family and is the largest woman-owned shipboard habitability business.
