About Dawnlough
Beginning as a small tooling company in 1987, Dawnlough supplied precision parts to the general engineering industry all along the west coast of Ireland. Over the last 30 years we have steadily evolved and grown to become a major supplier to some of the leading Aerospace and Medical Device companies around the world. Since we opened our doors over 30 years ago, we have expanded our factory’s footprint twice and now currently operate from our state of the art 50,000 square foot facility based in Galway City. We employ approximately 90 full-time employees across all our departments and shifts. In early 2009 we branched out from solely manufacturing work and created our own in-house Design Department. Our ability to take customers projects from their concept stage through to fully functioning products without having to leave the factory lead to the expansion of this department from 1 part-time design engineer in 2009, to 6 full time design engineers working on bespoke customer designs. Over the last 30 years Dawnlough as a company have always tried to look to the future and envision ways to constantly improve our methodologies and capabilities. This constant strive for perfection has been demonstrated by our qualification to numerous certifications and awards including ISO9001:2015, ISO13485:2016, AS9100D as well as being awarded the SC21 Bronze Award in 2016.
