About Daylilie

Hi! We are Manuella and Jenny, co-founders of Daylilie. Jenny rows and Manuella rock climbs—both sports require strength. While we train differently, we’ve both developed strong backs and shoulders. Outside of sports, our body proportions aren’t being accounted for. Everyday bras are not designed with active silhouettes in mind. We put surveys in washrooms, running clubs, and pretty much everywhere in between—and there is one clear pattern. For athletic silhouettes, our backs are too broad causing spillage, and our breasts are too shallow causing gaping. We found an industry blind spot: while the industry has made leaps in expanding size ranges, no one is solving for proportions and silhouettes. Daylilie is closing this blind spot.
