About Dayna Designs
Dayna Designs, LLC is a Maryland-based jewelry design and production company serving the wholesale market. Dayna Designs offers a wide selection of attractive and affordable jewelry in solid sterling silver. Dayna Designs is a member of the Fair Labor Association and works with manufacturers that are fair trade organizations. Dayna Designs hires workers at a fair wage to produce and package our jewelry. These are simply small ways we try to help promote social change. It all started in Spring 2004 with founder Dana Lande’s jewelry design hobby. While completing her MBA at the University of Maryland’s Smith School of Business, Dana was motivated to turn her pastime into a business. Her future was settled when she created University of Maryland Terrapin jewelry as graduation gifts for her fellow classmates. An instant success, the Dayna Designs collegiate division was born and soon expanded to sell mascot jewelry to universities nationwide. Soon thereafter, Dayna Designs expanded to retailers such as Barnes & Noble, Fanatics, Dillard's, Kohl's, Kentucky Derby, NASCAR, and more. With expansion has come increased focus on quality and packaging, as well as opportunities to work with companies large and small.
