About DC Group NZ
DC Group is a Northland company based at Port Nikau, Whangārei, managing interests in commercial and residential property, forestry and portfolio investments. DC Group is owned and operated by Clare and Tony Davies-Colley, experienced property developers and business owners in Northland. They are committed to supporting growth for the Tai Tokerau region, including providing opportunities for people to grow within every new business venture. "We pride ourselves in our strategic thinking, adaptability to changing environments and ability to manage organisations and people at all levels. We are outcome-focused and are happy to tackle any challenges that might arise to ensure the success of the project." Our History In 1993, Clare and Tony established a sawmill in Whangārei, which they successfully grew into a thriving local company with 200 employees, growing it into one of the North Island’s leading timber suppliers. After selling the sawmill, the pair reinvested in Tui Technology, BDX Group (Blackdog Steelworks), Westpoint Management, dairy and forestry farming, building these companies up to be profitable enterprises. With a passion for land development and a commitment to the local economy, Clare and Tony then turned their attention to developing a neglected central hillside and converted it into a desirable urban suburb. The first three stages of Kōtātā Heights have sold, and another two stages are currently in progress. The neighbouring Weddel Farm development is now also underway. Over the last 10 years, Clare and Tony have also been working away on the development of a large-scale urban environment in central Whangārei, Port Nikau. Port Nikau represents the future growth of urban Whangārei and will entail commercial, residential, retirement villages and more.
