Civil, Structural & Traffic Engineering Consultancy based in Dundalk, Co. Louth. DCE IRL serves a wide range of key sectors including commercial & residential building industry and transport infrastructure industry. DCE designs, details, specifies and compiles contract documentation and provides site supervision services for a wide range of civil engineering elements including roads and other paved surfaces, foul sewers, surface water drains, SUDS attenuation devices, storage tanks, pumping chambers and retaining walls. DCE has its own topographical survey and setting out capability comprising skilled land surveyors, electronic distance measuring equipment and powerful computer software. One of the key areas of specialisation by DCE over the last decade has been the design of timber structures, providing a service to a sizeable portion of timber frame companies in Ireland and the UK. DCE has also invested heavily in training and software geared towards Transportation Impact Studies, Traffic Impact Assessments, Mobility Audits and Road Safety Audits, having gained recognition from the NRA (National Roads Authority) for the latter.
