Company Overview: The newest horse association, Deaf Horse Association (DHA), proudly establishes unique deaf horse programs for owners and friends of deaf horses, and for general horse enthusiasts. DHA's primary goal is to provide "Deaf Horse Awareness" and establish a "Deaf Horse Show" to spread the word about the deaf horses as many people are not aware of their existence. ... DHA also functions as a leading resource on current training and research on the unique needs of deaf horses for horse owners, trainers, and enthusiasts alike. Mission: 1) To develop a leading source of research information on deaf horses, including statistics, records, training, and other related information pertaining to deaf horses (i.e. a connection between Splash Paint markings and congenital deafness). 2) To provide beneficial information of owning and protecting deaf horses for its members, and encourage DHA ownership and participation. 3) To develop diverse educational programs (i.e. Deaf Horse Awareness, Deaf Horse Show) that will position DHA as the leading resource organization on deaf horse programs. 4) To generate growth of DHA fans via marketing, promotion, advertising and publicity of our newest horse association.
