The Deakin Commerce Students’ Society (DCSS) is the largest academic student society at Deakin University, with a membership base of in excess of 550 students at the Geelong campus. The DCSS operates as a student run and elected body through the faculty of Business and Law and provides a....... valuable link between faculty staff and students. The society aims to enhance not only the academic quality of life for all commerce students, but also social life of those on campus through social activities and career fair events. The goal of the DCSS is to close the gap between what is an ordinary Commerce Degree and forging a successful career. By affording the opportunity for students to network with like-minded students and interact with prospective employers at our careers fairs, the DCSS is consistently approaching this goal. Not to be outdone by other societies however; the DCSS still offers a full calendar of social events throughout the year in order to make every single Commerce degree at Deakin University just that much more memorable for the society’s members.
