Deana began dancing at the tender age of two and hasn’t stopped since! Training in her home town of Barnsley with Elizabeth Craven Deana succeeded at many local and national dance competitions (Miss Dance of GB – 2nd place 1981) and from here she pursued her professional dance career. After a number of years working professionally (notable contracts; adidas UK, the BBC, P&O Stadium Theatre Co, Robert Earle Enterprises, Costa Cruise Lines, Pineapple Dance Studios) dancing and choreographing around the world and in London Deana finally settled down with her husband Graham in Bradford. Following a brief spell working in arts management at the prestigious Alhambra Theatre, (Customer Services Manager no less!) she finally opened her own dance school the Deana Morgan Academy in February 1999. Deana has now sold the school to focus on her own performing and professional coaching career. A most significant life changing occurrence happened to Deana At 43 Deana came out of professional retirement to be a Golden Girl dancing in Gerry Cottle’s Wow! show at the Palace Theatre, Paignton in 2007; a full on summer season with a no holds barred Can Can – twice a day! This led to an appearance in Las Vegas and actually Deana now dances and performs professionally any chance she gets. Deana has produced lavish shows at the Alhambra Theatre for her own academy and has her own production company which stages productions in prestigious venues around the UK such as One Night Only @ the London Palladium.
