Based in Queens, the Dear You LLC brand and book collection create an open door to healthy dialogue between mothers and their children, teachers and their students, and also women amongst women. We understand the importance of speaking positively to our youth while also recognizing that mothers need encouragement as well. With that in mind, we have created inspirational books for both women and children, it’s like a mommy and me collectible. Our books for women tell stories in a poetic manner that are relatable, while also encouraging them to take forward movement in their lives. While our children's poetry books encourage them to be the best version of themselves that they were created to be and to dream of past circumstances. We believe in the power of storytelling and its ability to inspire and transform. Our business was founded by a single mother who wanted to lead by example and provide uplifting support to other women. She created our first book, Dear You, I Dare You, as a personal challenge to grow and inspire confidence in herself and others. As the business grew, she created a children's book collection inspired by her daughter and a Mommy & Me book collection to provide a safe space and healthy dialogue for both women and children.
