About Decatur Plastic Products
In 1983, Decatur Plastic Products, Inc. (DPP) began operations as a sample shop for Decatur Mold Tooling & Engineering (DMTE). In 1991, John Kussman purchased the facility and retained ownership until July 29, 2016, with the Riley family procurement. The Riley's were very pleased that John chose them to carry on his legacy and continue to be a family-owned company. DPP provides custom injection molded, fiber flock coated, and assembled parts for our OEMs and tier 1 automotive customers. Our products and services are primarily used in automotive and truck interior systems. We also produce consumer goods in a variety of sectors. DPP is proud of our global partnership with Ningbo Global Sourcing LLC. (NGS); A tool shop located in the Free Trade Zone of Ningbo, China and also owned by the Riley family. DPP believes that teamwork drives excellence and that people make the difference. Our customers are the focus of everything we do, and our driving force is to consistently deliver superior results. Our goal is to provide solutions that create value for our customers and investors, while maintaining a safe and secure working environment for our people and harmony with our partners. Decatur Plastic Products, Inc. is an IATF 16949 Quality Standard company that specializes in injection molding, fiber flock coating, assembly work, and tool building. We service most large automotive OEMs, and the majority of our products are plastic automotive parts, both interior, and exterior, with a variety of consumer goods.
