Deckchair is a film production company and creative consultancy, founded by Director Harry Otto Brünjes in 2004, named after a famous school report once describing him as 'laid back as deckchair.' To date Deckchair has produced over 500 commercial films of all formats directly with major brands and talent worldwide. Deckchair evolved as a new writing theatre company after producing Harry's plays at University. On completion of the feature film La Bella Figura, core business evolved as a creative agency directly with clients on retained contracts. Offices previously on Charlotte Street and Kensington Church Street, London. Deckchair has developed a school of work and philosophy that is director-led under a studio process, delivering the talents of BAFTA & OSCAR nominated directors, writers, cinematographers, designers, musicians, animators and production management. In turn, we have helped our clients to win many awards of their own.
