Decker Tape Products is a family owned and operated business serving the pressure sensitive tape market for over 48 years. Founded to service the local New Jersey market’s demand in specialty tapes for all applications on a distribution level. Manufacturing was limited to one machine and one salesman in a garage. Building on the knowledge of applications for specialty tapes through all facets of industry Decker Tape switched its market approach though distribution. Through this transition Decker was able to offer its products on a nationwide. Through the past 40+ years Decker Tape has continually invested in capabilities and technology for the converting of pressure sensitive tapes. Including lathe slitting, die cutting, spooling, wide web rewind slitting, narrow width rewind slitting, padding, sheeting and laminating Decker Tape offers the widest range of converting capabilities in the industry. It is one of two manufactures of tape carry handles and tape pads. Decker is the only manufacturer of pre-laminated tape handles in the United States. Decker also has invested in the automation of packaging pressure sensitive tapes, including flatpacks, shrink wrapped stacks, accordion packs and retail shrink wraps. Decker Tape is also the largest adhesive tape printer in the United States and is the only printer capable of printing 1-5 colors on the surface of pressure sensitive tapes. Our printing department also includes a custom and stock printed label department. The stock label program includes labels for shipping, product handling, DOT regulations, and inventory control labels. Headquarters in Fairfield, NJ, Decker Tapes operates out of two side by side buildings totaling over 70,000 square feet and employs more than 100 people.
