About DECLARATION

Established in 2001 by Richard Warrilow (experienced electronics engineer and technical journalist) and Amanda Warrilow (formerly BAE Systems’ Press Officer and with extensive events management experience), Declaration is a husband-and-wife technical marketing support company. We help organisations operating in high-tech engineering sectors declare the excellence of their products and services by creating engaging content and making compelling business-to-business (B2B) and engineer-to-engineer (E2E) communications. Unlike other agencies we have standard support services that are underpinned by a modular and scalable engagement model. We are responsive too, as we do not outsource to freelancers – a practice that can not only result in delays but also in miscommunication and costs the client when a markup is applied. We designed and built our website (and website design is a service we offer) as well as a versatile database for managing media communications, social media posts, article placement opportunities and fulfilments, and overall job control. In other words, we have the skills, experiences and tools in place to provide quality and responsive B2B and E2E technical marketing support. And we have an open pricing structure. How many agencies do that? Most of our business comes through recommendations, so we’re clearly doing something right. Also, we were delighted when one of our clients recently told us that when they were on the lookout for trade press representation they were told by a publisher that Declaration is at the top of a short list of agencies that really understands technology and how best to communicate it.
