Defense First introduces a NEW ERA in hockey schools. Many camps focus the majority of their attention on only one skill. Unfortunately a great player must possess much more than just one well-developed skill. Through our experiences, that have helped us reach the NHL, we have identified the MIND as the key to excelling in hockey. Defense First takes various game-oriented drills and shows players how to THINK the game! The philosophy behind Defense First is based around the idea of “INITIATE and DICTATE,” rather then “Read and React.” The result is a COMPLETE HOCKEY PLAYER armed with not only great skills but also the KNOWLEDGE to use these skills to truly excel in hockey and life!
