Defenshield is a service-disabled veteran owned/veteran staffed small business ballistic protection company with experience working globally with all federal agencies, militaries, and the protection of assets vital to national security. Founded in 2002, Defenshield sought to create a product to protect those security personnel in airports following the 9/11 attacks. Now Defenshield’s flagship product, the Mobile Defensive Fighting Position (MDFP) is deployed around the world providing the best protection to our law enforcement and security personnel. The MDFP is currently protecting all entrances to the Pentagon, the residence of the Vice President, Air Force One and Marine One. It has also been adopted globally by hundreds of military installations, virtually every federal agency, nuclear plants, and airports. Defenshield designs and produces a range of custom armor and transparent armor solutions including Barrier Caps, Rail Caps, SafePoint Mobile Security Stations, SandBag Windows, SafeDesk armor for courthouses, FEMA-spec Hurricane resistant windows, .50 cal resistant Guardhouse Windows and frames, and replacement window kits for the Peacekeeper vehicles in use by many law enforcement agencies. All products provide solutions to ballistic protection and security needs, have unique features which distinguish them from other products on the market, and are built to specification. Custom engineered solutions to specific needs are also available.
