DefensTech International Inc. (DTI) is a USAF Service Disabled Veteran owned, Nevada Corporation, incorporated in 2005 and located in Boca Raton, Florida providing Defend-X® Blast Mitigation Structural Strengthening System with Self-Sealing Properties (the “Technology”) consisting of a methodology using Defend-X® industrial Coatings to strengthen walls, buildings, and other surfaces to mitigate the effects of blasts and projectiles. The Defend-X® spray-on coatings are made of elastomers (rubber-like materials) which enable the coated materials to become more flexible, leading to strengthened structures with the decreased likelihood of fragmentation and spalling. Studies have demonstrated that walls coated with Defend-X are capable of withstanding explosions up to 20 times greater than what a normal uncoated wall can withstand DefensTech’s Infrastructure Protection Technology can be deployed to new or existing structures to strengthen walls and mitigate blast, seismic, and leaks caused by an explosion by absorbing the energy and minimizing effects of blasts and projectiles from acts of terror and protection.
