About Defiant Sports

We provide disability sports for all, adapting to their individual needs rather than expecting them to 'fit' into pre-existing sports. Our community is at the heart of what we do, always asking them 'what would you like to do?', and improving our sessions by offering sports the community want and need. Founded by Loretta after her son, Callum, was excluded from both mainstream and disability sports. Living with both autism and cerebral palsy, Callum was at a disadvantage against able-bodied players, and was told he needed to play in a wheelchair if he wanted to compete in disability tennis. We are proud to be making huge changes to the accessibility of sport since then, proven by our recent award wins and community impact.
