Deft Group was founded in 2018 to deliver a superior independent adjusting solution for complex property claims. Through our B2B-facing entity, Deft Claims, we quickly raised the standard for providing carrier clients with the timely, accurate information needed to resolve high-value claims efficiently, while minimizing disputes and costly supplements. Backed by a lean in-house team and a nationwide network of elite adjusters, we established a strong foothold in a traditionally underserved corner of the property claims market. As Deft Claims matured it revealed a deeper issue: the lack of reliable pre-loss documentation and proactive risk strategies in regions increasingly affected by climate change, social inflation, and shifting insurance dynamics. In response, we launched Deft Risk, our flagship company dedicated to year-round risk management, underwriting support, and post-loss triage. While claims remain part of our identity, our passion has shifted toward preventing them altogether. With the formation of Deft Resilience in 2025, Deft Group now bridges the gap between claims, risk management, and long-term resilience. By promoting resilient construction, sound governance, and risk transfer diligence through cross-sector education and by aligning vetted, qualified contractors with Deft Risk clients, we continue our pursuit of a future where property owners, insurers, and communities can flourish in even the most challenging markets.
