About DeLANA tours & travel

DeLANA tours and travels was established in Jogjakarta 5 years ago by two college friends Antin and Gagat. Realizing the world’s recognition of Bali, they dream of introducing the rest of Indonesia to the world. One city at a time, one journey at a time. Having met in college, they had talked about bringing young people and families to different cities in Indonesia and provide them with once in a lifetime experience which they can bring back to their hometown and share with others. Antin and Gagat have deep love for Indonesia and believe that the Indonesian history, its people, culture and values should be preserved and passed along to the next generations as well as beyond the country’s border. Antin and Gagat believe that visiting is merely the first step towards understanding and learning about a culture, however had one experienced the life the way the locals do, interact with the locals in a deeper and closer manner, one will learn more and be able to bring back deeper thoughts and insights to their hometowns. Hence Antin and Gagat strive to have DeLANA focus on experiential learning through homestays at local farms, participating in local charities as well as providing visitors and learners with carefully designed travel plan that will quench their thirst for discovery.
