Since 1984, Delaware Express has offered convenient, transportation services to area business and leisure travelers, families and groups. With dedicated drivers, supported by professional dispatch, safety, customer service and maintenance teams, they are the largest and most trusted ground transportation provider in the State. They now have 25 state-of-the-art motor coaches that transport travelers to many business and leisure destinations. They joined the national GO Airport Shuttle network. Travelers can now reserve their ground transportation at both the destination and arrival points. When travelers arrive at Philadelphia or Baltimore airports, they are the GO network company that takes them to their final destination. They have great working relationships with area hotels and businesses. They depend on the company to transport their guests and visitors to and from the airport and to other destinations while they are in the area. Through his leadership, Delaware Express has become the “official transportation partner” of the University of Delaware, Blue Rocks, 87ers, Philadelphia Union, and Philadelphia Soul. Gerry is a strong supporter of business, non-profit and community activities. He has taken a leadership role in many organizations through his volunteer efforts. He encourages his employee to be active supporters in many area business and professional organizations. Prior to starting the company, Gerry fought and survived a rare form of cancer and continues to dedicate himself to helping others. Despite his busy schedule, he takes time to transport cancer patients to treatment several times a week. Gerry generously donates to a number of area non-profit organizations by providing gifts, staff time or money. They are an active member of the New Castle County Chamber of Commerce, Delaware State Chamber of Commerce, Central Delaware Chamber of Commerce, Greater Wilmington Convention & Visitors Bureau, Hotel/Motel Association and many other organizations.
