In July 2013 DDL added Severn Trent Water to the above list. We are the sole provider for temperature controlled transport of potable and waste water samples for 4 years. ATP class C temperature controlled vehicles can operate at -25 to +30 degrees and carry goods in separate compartments simultaneously at any temperature in this range. Load area temperature is tracked live and data can be emailed for total piece of mind. On-board hard wired UKAS calibrated equipment provides proof of temperature printouts to accompany chain of custody at delivery point. As well as dedicated long distance UK or European dedicated specials, DDL provides a nationwide in-house temperature controlled overnight sample network collecting throughout the UK in the afternoon and late evening for delivery to all the major supermarket head offices, photo studios, and other buyers the following morning from 6am. NHS and Pathology courier contracts are also serviced in-house by fully trained and compliant employed staff in new vehicles using the online track and trace. Ambient vehicles are able to collect nationwide within 60 minutes. AOGs and known airfreight are done by fully security vetted staff. In 2015, DDL is already training drivers to full ADR (Dangerous Goods) to enhance our specialist services.
