About Dell Children's Health Plan

Welcome! Dell Children’s Health Plan is a Health Maintenance Organization (HMO) committed to getting our members the right care when they need it. Through the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP) and State of Texas Access Reform (STAR) Medicaid programs, Dell Children’s Health Plan offers quality health care and extra benefits for families, with local doctors and clinics close to home. We serve CHIP and STAR Medicaid-eligible individuals who live in these Central Texas counties: - Bastrop - Burnet - Caldwell - Fayette - Hays - Lee - Travis - Williamson We have a network of more than 1,200 primary care doctors and over 4,100 specialists. We want to make sure our members have access to care, when and where they need it. Our members can expect more from us. On top of health coverage given with any CHIP or STAR Medicaid health plan, our members love our extra benefits that help them live healthier, more rewarding lives. For example, we offer many value-added services such as spiritual care, GED coaching and food deliveries due to significant life events such as a new illness, recent job loss or natural disaster. We also have a Community Outreach team that participates in many events throughout the year to serve our communities. Last year they attended 700 community outreach events with approximately 80,000 people in attendance. This year, we look forward to connecting with many more of our Dell Children’s Health Plan members.
