The architectural practice DELORDINAIRE studio places human synergies at the heart of their work: the occupants and their daily rituals. This vision emphasises the simplest of interactions by integrating them into an environment and, conversely, bringing this environment into people’s everyday experiences. The practice’s flexible creative process revolves and evolves around this conviction. Inspired by contemporary and modern design, Delordinaire’s work is denoted by clean, elegant lines and calm volumes. Hand in hand with their clients, from the creative process and technical details to delivery, from architecture to interior design, DELORDINAIRE creates tailor-made projects with an emphasis on the authenticity of materials conferring a prominent role to textures and aesthetics of nature. Founded by Adrian Hunfalvay, Erwan Levêque and Jean-Philippe Parent in 2016, the studio is based on the symbiosis of their design backgrounds and their three different cultural identities; Australian, French and Canadian respectively. DELORDINAIRE designs projects of varying types and scales, from private residences (such as the High-House), to public building projects (the Courbevoie Cultural Center), to hotels (The Robey, Chicago).
