Delta Therapy Dogs is a national not-for-profit organisation whose purpose is to help animals and people bring joy to each other. We believe that the a positive human animal bond creates a better relationship between people and dogs and leads to a more enriched and fulfilled life for humans and dogs alike. We deliver on our purpose through five core programs: Delta Collaborative Animal Assisted Therapy - currently specialising in canine assisted psychotherapy for adults. Delta Therapy Dogs Program - visiting aged care facilities, hospitals, mental health services, disability services, correctional facilities, and other health and community services. Delta Paws the Pressure - workplace and campus wellbeing and engagements sessions for employees and students. Delta Dog Safe Program - teaching young children safe behaviour around dogs. Delta Classroom Canines Program - assisting school children with confidence, wellbeing and literacy outcomes. Delta Certificate IV in Animal Behaviour and Training - giving students the tool, skills, and confidence to positively impact the lives of animals and their people through industry leading formal qualifications.
