About DeltaQuest Foundation

DeltaQuest Foundation, Inc., is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) outcome research organization based in Concord, Massachusetts, USA. Founded in 1999, its mission is to implement and facilitate innovative quality-of-life (QOL) research on medically ill patient populations. This is an internationally recognized organization that has been leading the field in innovation and quality-of-life research. Our activities include international grant- and contract-funded quality-of-life research on chronic and terminal diseases. We work actively with clinicians and organizations related to health care to facilitate evidence-based medicine using patient-reported outcome data. Employing self-report tools in combination with clinician-reported and other objective indices, our research program evaluates the impact of medical treatments on individuals' quality of life. We also develop and disseminate our own patient-reported outcome tools of functional health, psychosocial role performance, and existential well-being that were developed using state-of-the-art measurement science. Employing cross-discipline statistical methodology from the social sciences, psychometrics, biostatistics, epidemiology and physics, we apply state-of-the-art analytic methods for evaluating the effects of medical treatments, behavioral, psychosocial, and socio-demographic factors on health.
