Deltaray is a new High-Tech company in the field of Quality Inspection Automation located in Belgium using Xray. Our disruptive 3D X-ray scanning technology 3DAX (patented, TM) provides fully automated quality inspection for large batches or 100% in-line inspection of mission-critical parts on the production floor. The 3DAX approach uses the part CAD model as a digital twin, part pose-automation, and AI for reliable quality analytics. It provides fully automated inspection at 5-25 µm precision, 100x faster than existing X-ray quality inspection solutions used today. We offer turnkey inspection solutions as the missing link to zero defect industry leaders in their Industry 4.0 approach. A daily challenge of zero defect manufacturers is to assure quality for their customers. Closing the gap between increasing parts complexity and current inspection capabilities puts pressure on companies’ profitability. Assuring the quality of products is a crucial activity for every manufacturer. Just increasing the sample rate or adding 100% inspection by human eyes is not solving the problem. Although visual camera inspection is widely adopted in such production environments, there is a big solution gap for fully automated inspection of the internals of products at line-speed. In contrast to visual inspection, X-ray imaging allows to penetrate objects and is therefore unique in its capability to visually check internal geometry and assembly correctness of industrial products.
