About Democratic Hispanic Caucus of Florida
The mission of the Democratic Hispanic Caucus of Florida (DHCF) is to increase Latino voter registration and participation, while promoting civic education, immigrants’ rights and immigration reform, equality and opportunity for all. Latinos in Florida make up more than an a quarter of the state’s population (5 million) and it’s possibly the most diverse in the U.S. with representation in its communities from all of Latin America and the Caribbean. Our goal is to unite Hispanics, fight for our democratic values, and educate and increase Hispanic civil engagement in Seminole County as well as support Hispanic democratic candidates and democrats who support Hispanic communities and our values.
