About Demos Association Spain
Demos España is a non-profit organization that promotes debate and critical thinking on politics, economics, law, and society. We organize discussions, lectures, and debates with experts, as well as visits to key institutions across the country. Since our founding in 2012, we have fostered spaces for dialogue in universities and the public sphere. In 2016, we organized "España a Debate", featuring Albert Rivera and Pablo Iglesias—the first electoral debate ever held at a public university in Spain—marking a milestone in university political participation. Over the years, we have hosted additional electoral debates and events with prominent figures such as Alfredo Pérez Rubalcaba and Iñaki Gabilondo, among others. 🔹 We promote political and democratic debate in universities and other spaces for reflection. 🔹 We connect people interested in analyzing current affairs with a critical perspective. 🔹 We organize events with top-level experts.
