About Den Frie Vilje

Digital art studio working with emergent technologies to create works that are sensing their environments and appear to be present in the now. We think that the aesthetics of the time domain, how a piece reacts, react, adapt, and generate new forms from itself or it's surroundings, needs to be foregrounded for digital experiences to achieve beauty and elegance. Our main interest lies in this creation of dynamic aesthetic phenomena. When a work is running software the challenge is to make the behavioral aspects of the piece constitute it's aesthetic qualities.
