Denfind Stone is a family run company which started trading in 2004, with the reopening of the Pitairlie sandstone quarry which had lain dormant for almost a century. The quarry had previously been at the heart of the Angus sandstone industry in the 19th century. The business has grown steadily over the last 13 years and the future development and ambitions of our business have been demonstrated with the opening of a new purpose built production facility and offices in 2013, adjacent to the quarry. This investment has positioned the business well to support the increasing number of exciting projects which architects, construction companies and private clients are discussing with us on an ongoing basis. At Denfind Stone we can provide a range of sandstone products which include: • guillotine stone for cladding residential or commercial premises • flagstones for internal and external paving • dyking stone and a variety of coping stones • a range of special cut stone products to maximise the design of any project • we can also cut stone delivered from existing structures which are being redeveloped e.g. steadings being converted, maximising efficiency At Denfind Stone we strive to add value to every project by offering expert advice and guidance on appropriate products to ensure that the completed project looks as good as possible.
