According to report diabetes alone has approximately taken 2.5 million lives in Northern America, 1.8 million in Southern America,2.7 million in Europe,2.2 million in Africa, and 3.2 million in Asia and Australia combined. Current discoveries also show that the number of people with diabetes has risen from 108 million in1980 to 422 million in 2014. The global prevention of diabetes among adults over 18 years of age has increased from 4.7% in 1980 to 8.5 in 2014. In 2016, an estimated 1.6 million deaths directly caused by diabetes. However, this challenging issue has prompted many physicians and organizations to work tirelessly towards eradicating or at least reducing diabetes to a very irrelevant degree. Harris diabetic foundation (DEHDF) was founded in 2019 by Calvin Dwight Harris. Established after “Dennis. E. Harris”, a brother to Calvin who died as a diabetic coma patient in the year 2001. The primary location is in Nassau, Bahamas, but also has her non-profit branch registered in Atlanta, Georgia, United States. The primary motives of this foundation are to: • -create a global awareness of the deadly sickness • -eradicate or reduce people with diabetes by providing effective measures
