Sergio Tinoco, a dentist and university professor, is the founder of the society Dentsio. It's 2010 and Sergio dreams to simplify and make the management of his daily work more efficient. He wants to be able to treat more patients while spending more time with each one. But bureaucracy is a setback, as the law calls for documentation of medical history for each patient, including that of a patient who has been visited only once. Because there was an urgent need of a real progress Sergio developed an application idea linked to a portable device that allows you to create, record and manage the patient’s clinical history, the periodontal, dental charts etc. Just about any relevant info is recorded conveniently. The truth is, Sergio is not a technological expert but his ambitious nature gets rewarded in 2012. The meeting with the founders of Ideaware Co was a turning point in Dentsio’s history. The young company is finally able to interpret the idea of Sergio and turn it into a reality. Thus the first version of Dentsio was born, a very easy, fast and intuitive app designed especially for iPad and intended for dentists of any age. Today, just one year after its launch, the company has 40 employees and no intention of slowing down. Credit is also given to customers for giving practical feedback on the app which evidently helped improved the product. Dentsio continues to improve as a product and to grow as a business.
