DHMP was established in 1997 to provide quality, accessible and affordable health care services in the Denver metro area. As a hometown insurance carrier, our support team is easily accessible, providing our members with personalized service. Our goal is to improve the health and well-being of our members by promoting wellness and disease prevention, providing access to culturally diverse, comprehensive health services and enabling members to play an active role in their health care. We provide health insurance coverage to employees of the City and County of Denver, Denver Police and Denver Health and Hospital Authority. DHMP also offers a Medicaid Choice plan, Child Health Plan Plus, Elevate Health Plans for individuals and families through Connect for Health Colorado and Medicare Advantage plans. Today, DHMP provides health insurance for over 100,000 members in the Denver area and is part of the larger Denver Health and Hospital Authority system, which integrates acute and emergency care with public and community health.
