About Denver Pet Partners

Established in 2001, DPP is the largest animal-assisted intervention organization in Colorado and continues its dedication to quality volunteer and professional training and extensive community service. Our services are made possible through the teamwork of volunteers and generous donors. DPP receives no government funds or financial support from the national Pet Partners organization of which DPP is a community partner. Animal-assisted intervention services are provided to facilities at no cost to them. DPP is headquartered in Littleton, Colorado. More than 1,500 students have attended our training workshops and we have evaluated over 2,000 therapy teams for their skill and aptitude to deliver safe, effective AAI. VISION STATEMENT: To improve quality of life through animal-assisted interventions (AAI), respecting volunteers, clients, and our animal partners, and delivering excellence in our services. MISSION STATEMENT: Deliver excellence in animal-assisted interventions (AAI) and enhance the health and wellness of people through AAI services, networking, and education.
