About Department of Land and Real Estate Regulation
Department of Land & Real Estate Regulation in Ajman has been established by virtue of the Amiri Decree No. 7/2017, which issued by H. H. Sheikh HUMAID BIN RASHID AL NUAIMI, Member of the Supreme Council – Ruler of the Emirate of Ajman. It is considered as the legal replacement for the Land Department and the Real Estate Regulatory Agency, and it is chaired by Sheikh ABDUL AZIZ BIN HUMAID AL NUAIMI. Based on the directives of His Highness, the Department started practicing the duties and responsibilities entrusted to it, whereas it has launched its strategic plan, which aims to enhance the real estate investment environment, in order to participate in the economic growth and boosting the competitiveness in registering the properties. This is in addition to developing and enabling the real estate sector’s efficiencies in the field of development and services. The Department works in setting the policies and executing the projects and the initiatives related to organizing the real estate rector, and applying the best international practices in order to develop such sector from all its sides. The Department is keen in providing an ideal investment environment that prompts the internal and the external investments in the field of the real estate development through promulgating new laws and legislations relating to the market movement, in addition to providing the customers and investors with the appropriate facilities.
