Since opening its original facility in September 2018, Derby City Gaming has become a leading force in Kentucky's gaming industry. Located in Louisville, Kentucky, our flagship property on Poplar Level Road began with a $60 million state-of-the-art Historical Racing Machine (HRM) facility, offering over 1300 games, casual dining areas, a center bar, a simulcast wagering area, and a player’s club reward center. Over the years, Derby City Gaming has grown into one of Kentucky's top gaming destinations. Our expanded gaming floor, which opened in late 2022, features additional games and entertainment options, including a high-limit gaming area, a chophouse & bourbon bar, and a sports & entertainment bar. The expansion also included the addition of a brand-new 5-story, 123-room hotel, which opened in mid-2023, elevating Louisville's hospitality and entertainment landscape.
