This shortage has caused challenges to seek information and treatment. Derma Dex has created an AI, deep learning mobile app that uses high-resolution cameras on smartphones and a repository of clinical dermatoscopic data and images to identify skin users skin conditions. The App is able to quickly detect skin conditions and recommend treatments from certified dermatologists and or connect users with a virtual appointment. The application is packed with general information on preventative care to help users understand the common afflictions that impact everyday Canadians.
