Founded in 2009, Derventio Education assists thousands of users on a daily basis supporting staff in schools, colleges and universities. Our software ensures that the process of staff appraisals are as effective as possible, while also positively impacting teaching and learning. Staff are able to take ownership of their professional development which is linked to improvement planning and self-evaluation. We manage staff appraisals on-line, recording evidence and the ongoing professional dialogue between staff. Monitoring is completed directly within our software using tablets or laptops to record observation activity. Staff may assess themselves against the latest standards appropriate to their role, identifying areas for development and recording any CPD to alleviate any problem areas. We provide comprehensive reporting to leaders to ensure that they have all the information they need in order to devise a strategy for improvement.
