About Des Moines Children's Museum
The Des Moines Children's Museum is a 503c non profit with the goal of opening a children's museum is Des Moines. It was founded by two moms in the spring of 2017. They started a "museum without walls" and traveled to fairs and fests. They quickly gained community suport and we're able to open a temporary museum at the valley west mall in October. The Des Moines Children Museum is all volunteer and invests all proceeds to improving and upgrading exhibits and creating a capical campaign for a permanent standalone museum.
