Des Moines Performing Arts is central Iowa’s premier not-for-profit performing organization. We present professional touring production direct from Broadway, and since our opening have positioned Des Moines as a top destination for world-class productions on their first national tours. In addition to bringing you our top-rated Willis Broadway Series at the Civic Center, we also: • Expanded our programming to include The Dance Series, The Temple Comedy Series and the Wellmark Blue Cross and Blue Shield Family Series. • Operate the Stoner Theater, Temple Theater and Cowles Commons. • Are supported by nearly 7,000 contributors/donors. • Have a special Applause Series to provide educational opportunities for area students. • Enjoy an annual attendance of more than 350,000 visitors. • Contribute $32 million annually to Iowa's economy.
