About Desautels Women In Business
Desautels Women In Buisness (DWIB) is a student-run organisation under the Management Undergraduate Society (MUS) at the Desautels Faculty of Management at McGill University. DWIB is dedicated to advancing the success of women interested in the corporate world by providing a platform on which their specific concerns and challenges can be addressed proactively. Our network consists not only of professionals, but of current students, professors, and McGill Alumni. Together, we aim to educate and inspire students to achieve their goals with confidence as they begin to shape their futures. We host various events such as guest speaker series, workshops, and an annual conference attracting over 130 students and 35+ speakers from the local region, Toronto and Vancouver, united in downtown Montreal. DWIB was awarded "Best Academic Event of the Year" and "Best Club of the Year 2016" by the MUS. On the national level, DWIB was recognized with the "Canada Centennial Award" by the Canadian Federation of Business and Professional Women.
