About DESC Designs

Hi, I’m a wife (with an incredibly supportive husband), a proud mother of two, a grandmother of two, and a fur-mum to my four-legged “baby,” Max. The Big Sister Site – DESC Computers DESC Computers started back in 2003 as a passion project. What began as a hobby quickly grew, and by 2004, we officially registered as a Sole Trader – DESC Computers. In 2008, a client asked if we could build a website. At the time, we had no idea how—but true to our passion, we jumped right in and learned HTML and CSS coding. Since then, we’ve continued learning, keeping up with the latest technology, and transitioned to CMS (Content Management Systems). Over the years, we’ve built countless websites under DESC Computers. In early 2017, we decided to expand and registered DESC Designs as a separate business, dedicated to website design. Many of our clients were surprised that alongside computer and small device repairs, we also designed websites! So, we decided to make it official and share our passion with the world—because we truly LOVE WHAT WE DO! A Little About Me - Susan I’m not your typical "computer geek" (a term I actually love). When I meet new clients, I often hear, “You’re not what I expected!” And they’re right— - Yes, I’m female. - I’m not “young” anymore—I’ve seen the before side of 50. - My clients often become my friends. - I have piercings and tattoos. - And I absolutely adore my family! I love working closely with my clients, getting to know them and their businesses on a deeper level. A website isn’t just about what’s written on paper—it’s about capturing the heart of a business and bringing it to life. That’s where the real magic happens! ❤️
