About Design Octaves
Design Octaves creates high-end, limited-run RIM (Reaction Injection Molding) enclosures for Medical Device, Laboratory Equipment Manufacturers, Original Equipment Manufacturers and Contract Manufacturers. We have been in business since 1979 and mold enclosures for many of the leading Medical and Lab Device Manufacturers such as Siemens Healthcare, Becton Dickinson, Varian Medical, Agilent, Thermo Fisher Scientific, Abbott, and GE Healthcare to name a few. We specialize in low-volume molding of large, complex enclosures (up to 65”) for the Medical and Laboratory Device industries. Our process is suitable for annual volumes from 100-5000 pieces. All of the materials we use are UL94V-0 rated for flammability. We build all of our low-cost, composite epoxy tools in-house, and also provide molding, painting, silk-screening, assembly, and UL certified EMI/RFI shielding. We guarantee all of our tooling for a minimum of 10,000 cycles.
