DPI Ltd uses projects (such as yearbooks) to prepare young people for the workplace by contextualising and embedding skills. They provide excellent work experience, with a tangible end-produce produced to full commercial standards. Alongside its projects, DPI also runs workshops on Enterprise and Wowing Employers. DPI provides full methodologies and step-by-step guidance, all aspects of a successful project. Additional "info-bites" provide back-up on specific issues - e.g. collaborative working, managing time, marketing, finance, etc. Our approach enables learning through the project to support educational requirements - including awards and qualifications, literacy, numeracy, ICT, problem-solving and thinking skills, and personal development. For schools and colleges, DPI projects are designed to meet Ofsted (and Estyn) criteria. For young people, DPI projects enable them to align their skills and talents with the expectations of employers. DPI works with employers to define skills, attitudes, habits and competences they require, and these are integrated into learning through our projects. The projects also provide excellent opportunities for students to discuss issues such as responsibility and reliability, business ethics, financial matters, links with the local community, practical applications of academic work and much more.
